Promotion of health in local and global underserved and minority communities has been a lifelong commitment.
Through diverse community service and global outreach experiences Carly has gained insight into the biopsychosocial (biological, psychological, emotional, spiritual, and social) nature of health and the need for such perspective in medicine. Medicine is not one-size-fits-all, as culture, demographic, and even personal psychology create differences affecting healthcare need and delivery.
